Like you, we have been super busy and we are glad to get our schedule back to normal! Since we last blogged, we moved out of our old home at The Workery (thanks for the memories!) and into our new home at Om Base on South St. Mary's Street. While the actual move in to our new second story home in the south Texas heat was not a pretty sight, our new set up is gorgeous and we could not be happier.
Then, in case you missed it, we were invited to contribute regular segments on both Great Day SA and SA Live! Word on the street is they heard about my experience on television singing in the 2nd grade choir on the Catholic Television Network. We are planning at this time to showcase some quick DIYs that complement our monthly Crafthouse workshop themes, but if you want to see anything particular, just comment below.
Now on to our September classes!
We are admittedly obsessed with decking out our doors for Fall this month. And why not?? Between football and the requisite pumpkin spice latte, we are falling for Fall, and this month's workshops will not disappoint:
Thursday, September 1
6:30 - 8:30
Are you ready for some football?? If not, we have just the thing to get you in the spirit. Join us to create your very own custom team colors football wreath. If your team is not listed in our drop down menu, simply select "Other" and email us your preferred colors. Show your spirit for your alma mater, pro team of choice, or even Junior's high school team. This workshop will not only provide you with all the materials, but with the skill to create your own burlap wreaths in the future.
Sunday, September 4
12pm - 2pm
I'm not gonna lie. I totally patted myself on the back when coming up with this Harvest Swoon workshop. Wood signs + felt flowers? Yes please. This one is going fast, and with good reason, so make sure you reserve your spot soon!
Saturday, September 17
1pm - 3pm
You'll definitely be less inclined to walk all over this doormat once you've decked it out, but we won't tell. Choose from a variety of clever phrases ("You better have tacos" or my personal favorite "Boo! You whore.") to create your own doormat your friends will be completely jealous of. And while you wait for your paint to dry? Why not try your hand at creating some color blocked or matching wood burned coasters - they're like a doormat for your drink!
